L-Lysine

Nature's Sunshine L-Lysine: Lysine is an essential amino acid (cannot be made by the body) required for the manufacture of proteins. Therefore, it is vital that adequate amounts are included in the diet.

Having adequate intake of lysine supports circulation, the natural production of immune antibodies, hormones, enzymes and helps ensure adequate absorption of calcium, the formation of collagen for bone, cartilage and connective tissue.

It also supports the body's acid/alkaline balance and may effectively support immune defenses for lip health.
